The Faculty of Law at Eastern Mediterranean University began its educational activities in the 1996-1997 academic year in collaboration with the Faculty of Law at Ankara University, a collaboration that continues to this day. The Faculty admitted 183 students in its first year and graduated its first cohort in 2000.
