The English-medium Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) Program at Eastern Mediterranean University (EMU) Faculty of Law offers an international and multicultural learning environment where students from various countries study together. Delivered entirely in English, the program equips students with a globally applicable legal vocabulary and makes legal education accessible to learners from Europe, the Middle East, Africa, Asia, and beyond.
The curriculum is grounded in universal legal principles and is designed independently of any single national legal system. Instead, it emphasizes comparative law, international law, European Union law, and core common law concepts—an approach that significantly enhances international students’ academic adaptability and professional mobility.
Moreover, the program benefits from a strong academic collaboration with the University of Bologna, one of Europe’s oldest and most prestigious law faculties. Through this partnership, students gain exposure to European legal traditions, benefit from contributions of international professors, and gain early access to global academic and professional networks.
All courses in the program are taught entirely in English, enabling students to master a legal terminology that is recognized worldwide. Both TRNC citizens and international students are eligible to apply.
The educational experience includes:
One of the program’s major advantages is its educational model, which is not confined to any single national legal system but is instead built upon universal legal principles, comparative law, and international norms.
